Vine Passion

Vine Passion is a dance of bold colour and the concept of contrasts. 

Open quiet spaces are distinctly different to the twisted gestures which dangle and fill the juxtaposition of the tight twisted and active areas. 

The contrast between the colours, the movement and stillness, the expansiveness  and concentration of mark-making were the inspiration behind this artwork and the related artworks within this body of work. 

A deeper symbolism of this artwork, and those from this series, is a personal reflection point that is required for space within both our internal and external worlds.
