Pear Funk

In this abstract still life, vibrant colourful pears filled with energetic mark-making are the focus.  Painted while listening to funky music the outcome resulted in imaginatively coloured pears suggestive of ripe and ripening fruit.  The pears sit on a crisp opaque mint semi-circle indicative of cloth over a table.
