Nature's Muse

An abstract painting inspired by plants and puddles of water.  Many elements of nature were gathered to create this painted tapestry... the leaves of a Banksia, a Bromeliad and the well of water within its centre, the bubbles at the edge of a puddle of water after the rain and lichen growing on rock.

The mark-making, colour and texture create a tranquil flow across the artwork.

The layers encourage the viewer to look through each element as if deep inside a tranquil lush forest.
