The Light We Shine

A pure abstract painting exploring the powerful contrast between light and dark.   Rich earthy tones anchored me while exploring the lighter and more colourful parts of this artwork. 

When I stepped back to look from a distance at this piece I recognised unintentional abstract imagery.  This is the part of intuitive painting I adore, the subconscious outpour of an artists thoughts develop without conscious effort. The outward flow of the artists internal state expressed by the intuitive painting process through various tools, is quite magical when reflecting on the process.
