Pink Water Bush Magic

Pink Water Bush Magic brings together my love of the bush, coastline and the emotional connection we can experience through nature.

Expansive pink water opens between densely layered trees, while warm ochres and soft blues create a sense of light, atmosphere and depth.

Rather than depicting a specific location, this imagined landscape draws on remembered experiences, observation and imagination.

For me, the spacious water and layered bush create a place to pause, breathe and step away from the noise of everyday life.

Colour is central to my practice. Here, the vibrant pink water and sky becomes an unexpected focal point, bringing warmth and energy to a landscape that also offers a sense of stillness and refuge.

I hope this painting invites you to linger, wander with your eyes and find your own meaning in the landscape.
