Imagine the soft, golden hues of a tranquil Byron Bay sunset melting into the rhythmic embrace of the ocean. This abstract painting, by Janice Eliovson, is a visual poem born from these experiences. Captivated by the way the setting sun kissed the water's surface, I've translated that luminous dance into a fluid composition. Inspired by long, contemplative walks along its beaches, I sought to capture not just the light reflecting on the water, but the very essence of the ocean's free spirit represented in every brushstroke. The abstracted forms and flowing lines echo the constant movement, the feeling of vastness and liberation. Deliberately softened edges create a harmonious and calming atmosphere, inviting you to drop into the sense of internal serenity.
