Ocean's Essence - Limited Edition Print

I painted this after snorkelling at Malabar Bay one summers afternoon where I watched the world beneath the waters surface move gently by the swaying from the current.

It was the first time we had been permitted to enjoy an ocean swim following the lifting of pandemic restrictions. 

I remember floating in the water, face down, snorkel and mask on.   I observed as much as my being could.  The feeling of the water, the movement of both myself and the seaweed as well as the way seaweed covered and uncovered all that hid within and beneath it. 

I observed a small cluster of seaweed drifting, suspended in water, and watched it for ages.  This is all of what I chose to impression into this peaceful artwork.
